Through Finger Crest I attempted to comment on the importance of the body in jewellery. Here, the ring with resin covered cockatoo crest barbs represents the crest of a cockatoo and the finger becomes the upper part of the beak when bent. Thus like a cockatoo that uses its beak for grasping so too do we use our fingers.
